Police clashed with protesters in Tel-Aviv's Jaffa area during the evening (local time) of Wednesday, June 10. Demonstrators set fire to trash cans and threw objects at police in the second consecutive evening of unrest linked to plans to build a homeless shelter over the site of the Maqbarat al-Is'aaf Muslim graveyard. Police carried out at least four arrests during the protest. During unrest on the evening of Tuesday, June 9, at least 300 protesters clashed with police who used stun grenades to disperse crowds in the vicinity of the Jaffa Clock Tower.
