Delhi Police are reportedly on high alert after intelligence agencies warned on Sunday, June 21, of the possibility of an impending terror attack in Delhi. Sources have said all the 15 police districts have been put on high alert. According to intelligence reports, four or five potential perpetrators of an attack from may be entering Delhi by bus, car or taxi. A thorough search is being conducted at guest houses, hotels, and vehicles with registration plates from Jammu and Kashmir territory are being stopped and questioned, as it is feared the attackers who may enter are from the territory. An alert has been sounded at bus terminals and railway stations.

A heightened security presence should be anticipated in New Delhi and through the state in the immediate ter.
