A magnetically attached improvised explosive device (MAIED) reportedly detonated in the vicinity of Kabul's Hewadwal Square in Police District 8 (PD8) at approximately 07:40 (local time) on Thursday, June 11. The blast struck a vehicle in the area, killing one person and wounding another. The area has since been cleared by security forces.
