Afghanistan: MAIED blast reported in Kabul's PD10

At least two people have been injured following the blast of a magnetically attached improvised explosive device (MAIED) near Hamid Karzai International Airport (HKIA), located in Kabul's PD10, on Tuesday, June 16. The MAIED was reportedly detonated near the HKIA circle and was attached to a vehicle belonging to the Afghan National Defense and Security Forces (ANDSF). Security forces are reported to be responding to the incident. 

A heightened security presence and localized disruptions are expected in the area over the coming hours.
