Panama: Landslides kill two people in Panama City May 5

Landslides triggered by heavy rain killed two people in the Villa Maria area of Panama City on Tuesday, May 5. Roads in the area have been flooded, further obstructing traffic. As of Thursday, May 7, continued rainfall is forecast in the area as well as other parts of the country in the coming days.

Consequent flooding and traffic disruptions are to be anticipated in affected areas over the near-term.
