Senegal: Violent student protest in Dakar May 2

Police in Dakar deployed tear gas as students protested at Cheikh Anta Diop University (UCAD) on Thursday, May 2. Students threw projectiles at security forces and blocked roads in the Fann district amid demonstrations to denounce delayed scholarship payments.
