Residual delays are possible at Karratha Airport (KTA) in Karratha (Western Australia) following a security incident on Friday, April 19. Authorities reopened the airport at approximately 11:25 (local time) after investigating a suspicious package carried by a passenger. The airport was evacuated and cordon off for about two hours before police gave the all clear. According to media reports, several hundred people were evacuated and four planes were grounded.
