Seychelles: State funeral for former president March 7

A state funeral for former President France Albert René will be held in Victoria on Thursday, March 7. President René will lie in state at Stad Popiler from 09:30 until 14:00 (local time) for the public to pay their respects. At 14:30, an inter-faith burial service will be held at Mont Fleuri Cemetery. March 7 has been declared a National Day of Mourning and a public holiday. Transportation and commercial disruptions are possible throughout the day.
