Authorities suspended operations at Lahore's Allama Iqbal International Airport (LHE) from 10:00 until 14:00 (local time) on Tuesday, February 19, due to the presence of a pothole on the runway that developed as a result of heavy rains. At least ten flights have been delayed or canceled, and at least one incoming flight was diverted. Although the airport has resumed operations as of Tuesday evening, some residual delays and cancelations remain and may continue in the immediate term. Further rainfall is forecast in the coming days.
