The African National Congress (ANC) has called for a rally to be held in Durban on Saturday, January 12, to celebrate the party's 107th anniversary. A ceremony will take place at Moses Mabhida Stadium on January 12. City officials have announced that several roads, including portions of Masabalala Yengwa (NMR) Avenue, Battery Beach Road, and Isaiah Ntshangase (Walter Gilbert) Road, would be closed from 18:00 (local time) on Friday, Saturday 11, through the morning of Sunday, January 13. Associated transportation disruptions, along with heightened security measures, are to be anticipated.
