Warning

Event

A "Justice for David" protest is set to take place in the northern city of Novi Sad (Vojvodina province) on Thursday, December 27. Participants will gather at 16:00 (local time) at Republic Square. Localized transportation disruptions are expected in the vicinity of the protest.

Context

This protest is held in support of "Justice for David", a Bosnian movement denouncing police corruption and repression following the unexplained death of a 21-year-old in Banja Luka (Bosnia and Herzegovina). Earlier on December 27, Bosnian police forces released the victim's father, who has been organizing protests in Banja Luka, demanding the truth about his son's death.

Advice

Individuals present in the area are advised to avoid all protests as a precaution.
