Over 100 foreign dignitaries, including Angela Merkel, Vladimir Putin, and Donald Trump, will attend a ceremony in the capital Paris on November 11 to commemorate the end of World War I in 1918. The event, hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron, will be held at the Arc de Triomphe in Paris (near the Champs-Elysées). Additional security forces are expected to be deployed, along with traffic restrictions and resultant disruptions. Related events are taking place nationwide November 4-11.
