Thailand: Authorities close Maya Bay to visitors until September 30

Thai authorities have temporarily closed Maya Bay (Phi Phi archipelago) to all visitors to allow for coral reefs in the bay to recover. According to local sources, the closure will last from June 1 to September 30. During the closure, no boats will be allowed to moor in the bay.
