Lebanon: Demonstration in Beirut on October 14

Civil society groups have called for a demonstration to take place in Beirut on Sunday, October 14, to protest the rising price of fuel. According to local sources, demonstrators are expected to gather at 11:00 (local time) at Place Riad Solh. Heightened security measures and localized traffic disruptions are anticipated in the vicinity of the demonstration.
