The annual Nairobi Marathon will be held on Sunday, October 28. The race - in which 20,000 runners are expected to participate - will begin at 07:00 (local time) on Uhuru Highway in front of Nyayo Stadium. A heightened security presence and significant transportation disruptions are to be anticipated on the marathon route which can be found on the Nairobi Marathon's website.
