Royal Air Maroc flight disruptions reported since July 20 (as of July 30); confirm flight statuses

Warning

Event

Flight disruptions at Morocco's national airline Royal Air Maroc - ongoing since July 20 - continue. Another 13 flights have been canceled so far for Monday, July 30. Further delays and cancelations are likely in the coming days. Affected travelers are being permitted to postpone their flights (until August 15) or receive a refund.

Context

According to the airline, the disruptions are due to a pilot strike. However, the national pilot union AMPL has denied that such a strike is being held, saying pilots are simply refusing to work on their days off.

Advice

Travelers are advised to confirm the status of their flights prior to departure for the airport and to contact the airline for more information.
