The Taliban claimed responsibility for a suicide bombing targeting a National Directorate of Security (NDS) convoy in the Bagh Dawood area of Kabul on Thursday, July 26. According to local sources, the attack took place at approximately 05:00 (local time) as the convoy was traveling along the Compani Road. Officials have not confirmed a casualty count from the blast, but initial media reports said that up to ten people may have been killed or wounded. The area has been cordoned off and a security operation is ongoing as of 07:45.
