US: Hand luggage powdered products ban from June 30 /update 1

TSA to ban powdered products 12 oz. or larger from carry-on luggage on US-bound flights beginning June 30

Event

Travelers flying to the US from all international destinations will be banned from transporting powdered products weighing 350 ml (12 oz.) or more in carry-on luggage for security reasons. The measure, set to go into effect on June 30, will apply to all powders (spices, coffee, flour, sugar, cosmetics, talc, etc.) with the exception of baby formula and medications. However, baby formula and medications that cannot be verified risk being confiscated. The ban has been ordered by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
