23-hour water cut in four districts of Taichung City planned on June 27-28

Four districts of Taichung City (central Taiwan) will face a cut in water service during a 23-hour period between Wednesday, June 27, and Thursday, June 28. The shortage will start at 10:00 (local time) on June 27, and end at 09:00 on June 28. It will affect the Nantun, South, West, and Wuri districts of the city. Residual shortages are possible after the 23-hour period.

Context

The cut has been scheduled to allow for the construction of a new water pipeline. Approximately 21,000 households will be affected.
