A group of unidentified men attacked a Shi’a mosque in Verulam (KwaZulu-Natal province) on the afternoon (local time) of Thursday, May 10. According to local media reports, three people praying in the mosque were stabbed before the building was set on fire. At least one of the victims has reportedly died from his wounds.
