Traffic on the North-East Line (NEL) impacted on Wednesday morning, April 11, by faulty train

Commuters on the North-East Line (NEL) faced delays during the morning rush hour on Wednesday, April 11, due to a faulty train at Little India station. Train services between Potong Pasir and Outram stations were also suspended during the hour-long disruption, beginning at around 07:30 (local time). Free shuttles were available between Outram Park and Potong Pasir stations. Traffic resumed progressively from about 08:30.
Context
Similar disruptions also occurred on the morning of April 9 on a west-bound stretch of the East-West Line, due to a track fault.
