Police officials confirm suspected shooter has been arrested in Parkland (Florida) February 14; at least 14 victims confirmed

The Broward County Sheriff’s office confirmed that the suspected shooter at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland (Florida) has been taken into custody. Officials said that the suspect was arrested at approximately 16:11 (local time). The sheriff’s office confirmed that there were at least 14 casualties from the shooting. School administrators said that there are a number of fatalities. An investigation is ongoing and individuals are advised to avoid the area.
