UAE: Dec. 15 Dubai cycling event to cause city-wide traffic disruptions

Transportation disruptions are expected in Dubai on Friday, December 15, during the Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge, which is scheduled to start at 06:00 (local time). An increased security presence should also be expected surrounding the event.

According to Dubai police, the following areas will experience noticeable disruptions on December 15:

• Remraam towards Studio City, from 06:00 to 07:20
• Umm Suqeim Street towards Al Khail Road and Town Square, from 06:12 to 08:20
• Dubai Cycle Course towards Mira, from 06:15 to 07:40
• Umm Suqeim towards, Sustainable City, Arabian Ranches 2 and Casa Arabian Ranches, from 06:20 to 08:00
• Hessa Street towards Motor City, from 06:20 to 08:15
• Hessa Street towards Motor City and Al Barsha 3, from 06:15 to 08:20
• Al Barsha 3, Hessa Street towards Al Asayel Street and Garn Al Sabkha Street passing through Springs and Jumeirah Heights, from 07:00 to 08:35
• Garn Al Sabkha Street towards Al Worood Street, from 07:15 to 08:45
• Al Khamilla Street towards First Al Khail Street and Garn Al Sabkha Street, from 07:25 to 09:15
• Garn Al Sabkha Street towards Al Asayel Street, from 07:30 to 09:30
• Garn Al Sabkha Street towards Al Asayel Street and Hessa Street, from 07:35 to 09:45
• Hessa Street, Al Barsha 3 towards Motor City, from 07:40 to 10:00
• Motor City towards Dubai Autodrome, from 07:40 to 10:40 ​
