Schools and universities in the Makkah region will be closed on Tuesday, November 21, due to forecasts for adverse weather. The General Authority of Meteorology and Environmental Protection on Monday warned of inclement weather across the kingdom, with winds and sandstorms across Qassim and the western part of Riyadh region. Heavy to moderate rain as well as dust and sand storms are also expected in the Tabuk, Northern Border, Al Jouf, and Hail regions.

Large dust storms, heavy rains, and flash flooding may resulting in localized disruptions to road travel, as well as possible delays in air travel.
