Warning

Event

Annual World War I commemorations will be held on Saturday, November 11, in Brussels, which will cause some public transportation disruptions. Tram lines will be suspended between Louise and Botanique stations until 12:30 (local time). As a reminder, November 11 is a public holiday. As such, all public transit will run on public holiday timetables.

Moreover, services on metro lines 2 and 6 have been canceled for the weekend November 11-12, between stations Arts-Loi and Elisabeth, due to construction works at Rogier station. A replacement shuttle bus service will be set up between Yser and Rogier stations, but delays are to be expected.

Advice

Travelers are advised to allow for extra time to reach their destinations.
