Expect transportation disruptions in Amsterdam July 29 to August 6 amid Pride celebrations

The annual Pride Amsterdam will take place from Saturday, July 29, through Sunday, August 6, with main events planned on July 29 and Saturday, August 5. On July 29 the Pride Walk will begin in the center of Amsterdam near the Westerkerk and end at the Vondelpark. The Canal Parade on August 5 will pass through the center of the city as well. A detailed map of events and the Walk and Parade routes is available here. Additional events will take place from July 31 to August 1 in the town of Zandvoort. Transportation disruptions are expected in the vicinity of the parade and other events, as well as between Amsterdam and Zandvoort.
