Paris RER A commuter train services suspended July 29-August 27; delays to be expected

Service provided by the RER A commuter train in Paris will be suspended between La Défense and Nation stations from July 29 to August 27 included, due to annual maintenance works. As such, no RER trains will serve the stations Charles de Gaulle-Etoile, Auber, Châtelet-Les Halles, and Gare de Lyon; La Défense and Nation will serve as temporary terminuses. Replacement shuttle buses will run between La Défense and Charles-de-Gaulle-Etoile Mondays to Fridays, between 07:30 to 10:30 and 16:30 and 20:30 (local time). During this period, particularly crowded conditions are to be anticipated on the Paris metro line 1, particularly during morning and evening rush hours.
