Continued winter storms and strong winds are forecast for the northeastern US on Friday, November 16, along with transportation disruptions. Further flight delays and cancelations are to be anticipated at airports in the region, including those serving the New York City region (JFK, LGA, EWR), Boston (BOS), and Philadelphia (PHL). Rail and road disruptions - notably hazardous driving conditions - are also to be anticipated. The disruptions could potentially continue into the weekend.

Winter storm warnings and winter weather advisories issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) remain in effect for all or parts of the following states: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
