Series of strikes to affect air, rail, and public transportation November 17, 23, and 30

A series of strikes is set to affect air, rail, and public transportation in the coming weeks.

A 24-hour public transportation strike is set to take place in Turin (Piedmont region) on Saturday, November 17. Only minimal metro, tram, and bus services will be available from 06:00 to 09:00 and from 12:00 to 15:00 (local time). Public transportation workers will also be on strike in Naples on November 27 from 09:30 to 13:30, and in Verona on November 30 from 17:00 to 21:00.

On November 23, workers from the Trenitalia public railway company will hold a strike from 09:00 to 17:00.

On November 30, a 24-hour work stoppage by employees of Milan's Malpensa (MXP) and Linate (LIN) international airports will be held. Flight and operational disruptions are likely.
