Clashes broke out in Al-Eizariyah (West Bank) between Palestinian Authority (PA) security forces and the town's inhabitants on Friday, August 10, after a Palestinian man was killed in a raid on an alleged illegal gas station on the night of Thursday, August 9 (local time). Residents of the town reportedly obstructed the main road leading to the southern West Bank and set tires ablaze on Friday afternoon, demanding that an associated investigation be opened into the incident to hold those responsible for the man's death to account.

Further protests and clashes between PA security forces and residents of Al-Eizariyah are possible in the coming days.
